    The cache data is known for storing temporary data, history of the Web pages you visited in the web browser. You must clear the cache data at all times so that your AOL Desktop Gold software works fine. Follow the troubleshooting steps mentioned below to clear the cache:

    • You need to open your AOL Desktop Gold software.
    • Now you need to log-in to your account with valid credentials.
    • Then you have to click on the Settings> Browser> Security Tab> Clear Footprints Now
    • After that, you have to select the data that you wish to clear and then click on the Clear Footprints Now icon.

    If at any point you find difficulty in executing the steps then you can Install AOL Gold Desktop again by deleting the previous version of the software along with its data.
